As a dual qualified Myotherapist and Exercise Physiologist, Nathan is motivated by the desire to improve his own skills and help others. He has immersed himself in his interests – dry needling, the myofascial system and clinical exercise.
Constantly examining the impact his use of different modalities can have on injury, pain, bio-mechanics and performance has enabled him to develop and refine his practice. His rare combination of experience and qualifications, provides him with a thorough understanding of the body and a unique treatment approach to reduce pain, restore range of motion and improve movement quality.
Following the natural progression from being a practising clinician to an educator, Nathan provides students and aspiring clinicians unique quality learning opportunities through his tertiary teaching and professional development opportunities. An engaging educator who focuses on hands on skills, clinical reasoning and current research, he effectively brings the clinic into the classroom.
Currently, Nathan provides Myotherapy & Exercise Physiology services at Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre, CBD, teaches at Endeavour College of Natural Health and provides professional development course in Dry Needling, myofasical release and other manual therapy techniques. Nathan also runs Clinical Pilates and offers private consultation for complex clients at Upwey Health & Wellbeing.
